Software was created as an alternative to foreign solutions.

The development of a comprehensive industry solution consisted of three consecutive stages. Within the framework of the first two, the main business functions were implemented, aimed at solving problems in the block of relations with customers: managing booking, number of rooms and accommodation of guests. In addition, a functionality was developed that allows you to quickly configure a flexible pricing model, which gives hoteliers the opportunity to increase the sales efficiency of the entire range of services offered.

In the process of work on the final third stage, the subsystems of hotel integration interactions (regulatory accounting system, sales channels, acquiring and cash register systems, POS system, television, telephony, lock system, etc.), analytical reporting with the ability to flexibly configure and output statistical information in the form of a designer were implemented. The functionality of a data converter from existing PMS systems to TURBO Hotel has also been developed.

According to the results of communication with potential customers and the pilot consumer of the solution - the Official Hotel of the State Hermitage, the third stage was expanded with additional functional tasks in terms of communications with customers, increased flexibility in setting up the tariff grid and adaptation of role interfaces in the booking and accommodation module. The feasibility of the additions was confirmed by the experts of the grantor.

For 1.5 years, the Consyst Business Group team has developed a system that reflects the entire industry experience of the hotel business. We were directly involved in creating the solution and were the first to evaluate the quality, speed and convenience of the interface. In May 2024, we are jointly completing the software testing process in our hotel and plan to transfer the processes to a new system. TURBO Hotel is a software product for automating all business processes in hotels, implemented as an alternative to the solutions of other vendors, which have become widespread thanks to international operators of chain hotels. The system will allow managing the number of rooms, monitoring and planning loading, booking, pricing, working with guests (registration, selection of numbers, accounting for services, departure), as well as analyzing the results of activities.

The second stage of development was aimed at developing the key functionality of the system. For example, in the booking module it is possible to reserve numbers of different categories, with different tariffs and terms in one document. Different rates can be assigned for all days of accommodation in the same room. This advantageously highlights the solution among analogues, will reduce the time when processing both individual and group reservations, will significantly increase the efficiency of the booking service as a whole.

The system should not only quickly work out all operations, but also help hoteliers generate additional revenue. For example, it provides the possibility of entering price lists for the sale of additional hotel services.

As part of the development of the Placement Management module, the approach to managing guest balances has been revised: the guest account and the reservation account are two different interconnected parameters. If the guest overpaid for accommodation, there is no need to create a separate PayMaster and transfer the overpayment there: the funds will remain in the guest's account with the possibility of paying for future services.

The "Room Service Management" module has also been significantly developed, covering the entire range of tasks related to maintaining a residential and non-residential number fund, registers of rooms for cleaning, assigning assignments to maids, the possibility of evening cleaning, generating a forecast for room service, managing and monitoring the withdrawal and return of the number fund.

In September 2023, the TURBO Hotel decision was presented to hoteliers in St. Petersburg.

Development Grant

The Russian Information Technology Development Fund (RFRIT) and Consist Business Group (part of the LANIT group), the rightholder of the platform and applied solutions of the TURBO family, signed an agreement on the provision of a grant in the amount of 50 million rubles for the development of an industry solution TURBO Hotel. LANIT announced this on January 11, 2023.

The project for the development of the industry solution TURBO Hotel for the comprehensive automation of hotel activities, which received the support of RFRIT, involves development on a software platform. It Turbo X will include ten functional modules that automate all the main processes of a hotel of any format: management of booking and accommodation, pricing and sales, customer relations and others. It will also include functionality integration with external systems and modern hotel equipment. TURBO Hotel will have an up-to-date interface, the ability to work through, web browser as well as from mobile devices and expanded analytical reporting functionality.

The solution can be integrated with the systems of the TURBO line, including the TURBO Budgeting system, which will automate the planning and budgeting processes, as well as the formation of management reports according to USALI standards.

Consyst Business Group 's plans include the development of fast migration functionality, which will make it easy to switch to TURBO Hotel. To speed up the process of bringing the solution to market, the company signed an agreement with one of the existing facilities in the hotel industry, which will implement a pilot implementation and work out a simplified transition from replaceable systems.
