Start of mass deliveries of UserGate E1010 and E3010

On August 13, 2025, UserGate announced the start of mass deliveries of the next generation  of E  and F series UserGate hardware platforms, designed to protect the perimeter of the network of large branches and organizations, as well as data centers.

According to the company, the release of the UserGate E1010 and E3010 hardware platforms  in the 1U form factor and F8010  in the 2U form factor was announced in the fall of 2024. They are designed to gradually replace the previous generation platforms: UserGate E1000, E3000 and F8000. The platforms are based on  the powerful AMD EPYC CPU family (8, 24 and 96 cores, respectively)  and are primarily designed for two  NGFW class products: UserGate NGFW for small and medium-sized organizations and branches, and UserGate DCFW for  protecting the data center and network perimeter of corporations.

Compared to the predecessors of the platform , E1010 and E3010 received twice the amount of RAM - 64 GB. UserGate NGFW performance based on E1010  in FW L4 mode on  EMIX traffic reaches 43 Gbps, on  E3010 - 95 Gbps,   and in FW L4 + AppControl + IPS mode - 5.5 Gbps and 13.5 Gbps, respectively. The platforms have two  hot-swap power supplies and 4  NIC expansion slots , one of which in the basic delivery already contains a card with 8 ports RJ-45 1 Gb/s. Such indicators allow you to use them to protect medium and large organizations and branches.

All platforms are used for data storage SSD enterprise-class NVMe : MTBF is more than 5.5 million hours, TBW is 1700 +, DWPD is 1.55.  NICs with 8 1 Gb/s RJ-45 ports   , 4   1 Gb/s SFP ports , 4   10 Gb/s SFP + ports , two   25 Gb/s SFP28 ports , two   40 Gb/s QSFP ports , or two   100 Gb/s QSFP28 ports are supported.

UserGate E1010, E3010 and F8010 are already listed in the registers of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia (PP 719 and PP 878). PAC  based on these platforms  with UserGate NGFW and UserGate DCFW are included in the scope of the Russian FSTEC certificate .

The release of the E and F series platforms is a continuation of our strategy to systematically replace the previous generation platforms. At the same time, the platform output process will be smooth and time-consuming , which will allow customers to plan ahead for a possible update. Mass deliveries of UserGate E1010, E3010 and F8010 hardware platforms began  on August 12, 2025 .

Inclusion of UserGate E1010 and UserGate E3010 in the registry of domestic software

On May 26, 2025, UserGate announced the inclusion of next-generation firewalls in the form of software and hardware complexes (PAC) UserGate C100, UserGate E1010 and UserGate E3010 in the register of domestic software and software systems in Russia. Conclusions on the compliance of these decisions with the requirements for Russian technological products were issued by the expert council under the Ministry. Now the register included all relevant range PAC of UserGate: C100, C150, D200, D500, E1000, E1010, E3000, E3010, F8000 and F8010 and also FG with hardware acceleration.

Registration of the next generation UserGate firewalls as PAC will allow Russian customers to use them to comprehensively protect their own IT infrastructure and guarantee its independence from the unfriendly actions of foreign vendors. At the same time, for a number of customers, such as state or municipal organizations, the presence of used solutions in the Register of domestic software is a mandatory requirement for the used equipment and software.

Next-generation UserGate firewalls provide protection against network attacks, malware, application control, network address translation, intrusion prevention, content traffic filtering, Internet access control, user identification, secure remote access, and more. These platforms will also solve problems such as compliance with legislation on the protection of personal data in accordance with FZ-152 requirements, the application of security policies to civil servants, the publication of services of government authorities for external users.

The UserGate C100 software and hardware complex is a budget platform primarily focused on protecting small local networks. These can be networks of branches of a large company, for example, points of sale, ROIVs and FOIVs. UserGate C100 is supplied as a ready-to-use solution, and its "fine" configuration can be carried out by a regular system administrator. Despite the low cost and compactness, UserGate C100 uses the same technologies that are used in solutions to protect the network perimeters of large companies.

The UserGate E1010 and UserGate E3010 platforms, introduced in the fall of 2024, are designed to protect medium and large local networks and data centers. These hardware and software complexes are distinguished by a large amount of RAM, increased performance and reliability, as well as the number of built-in interfaces. UserGate E1010 and UserGate E3010 provide large organizations with a new level of network security and protection against modern threats compared to previous E-series platforms.

UserGate E1010 and UserGate E3010 firewalls provide 43 Gbps and 95 Gbps performance in FW L4 mode, respectively, and 5.5 Gbps and 13.5 Gbps performance in FW L7 + IPS mode on EMIX traffic, respectively. It should also be noted that UserGate E1010 and UserGate E3010, among the majority of the company's PACS, are among the trusted equipment.

The inclusion of UserGate hardware and software systems in the register of domestic software Ministry of Digital Development Russia is not just a necessary formality. This is a guarantee for customers against the consequences of unilateral actions of foreign vendors who are able to refuse their customers to sell and support their products at any time. UserGate NGFW, regardless of the political situation, will always be provided with manufacturer support and regular updates. It also gives customers the opportunity to use NGFW UserGate in projects aimed at import substitution of software and equipment, as well as CII protection. In addition, customers who have opted for these solutions will be able to take advantage of tax benefits determined by Articles 257 and 264 of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation, - said Kirill Pryamov, Development Manager of UserGate NGFW.
