2025: Optimizing for Extreme Loads

VK Tech on December 3, 2025 introduced the Cloud Containers generation - the Kubernetes platform VK Cloud for deploying next-generation AI applications. It will ensure the continuous operation of the AI infrastructure under extreme loads, including the scaling of LLM services. Cloud Containers will enable you to create IT systems that work with tens of thousands of users and millions of transactions without losing performance and availability.

The added capabilities of the service can reduce operating costs, speed up the launch of AI products on the market and ensure the smooth operation of high-load projects. The solution has high performance and the ability to simultaneously process up to 55,000 microservices.

Key updates allow you to accelerate development and create systems that withstand extreme loads. Cloud Containers automates the process of self-recovery of the Kubernetes cluster, implements the technology Nested Kubernetes, when one Kubernetes cluster starts inside another, and the ability to carry out parallel operations with the cluster. This is especially true for organizations with large projects and an intensive development cycle.

The function of automatic self-recovery of cluster components returns it to an operational state without the intervention of DevOps engineers. This minimizes application downtime risks and reallocates team resources from routine monitoring to strategic tasks. Parallel operation technology eliminates "idle windows," giving developers the opportunity to reduce time-to-market for new functionality and products. This is due to simultaneous configuration, scaling and updating of the cluster.

Integration with OnCloud.ru

On December 21, 2020, it became known that Onlanta and the Mail.ru Cloud Solutions platform entered into an agreement on strategic partnership in the field of multi-cloud services. Company collaboration will allow customers to manage complex infrastructure projects using provider resources through a single "entry point" with end-to-end information security and SLA. Mail.ru Cloud Containers: cloudy containers Managed. Kubernetes

As of March 2021 Mail.ru , Cloud Solutions is a Russian cloud provider Kubernetes certified (Cloud Native Computing Foundation CNCF). Certification ensures that applications managed by the Mail.ru Cloud Containers service are fully compatible with applications managed by any standard Kubernetes environment.

For February 2020, Kubernetes versions are supported up to 1.16.
