2022: Growth of procurement volume by 2.5 times to 3.8 billion rubles

Since the beginning of 2022, the volume of purchases on the VTB Business Connect trading platform has increased 2.5 times and exceeded 3.8 billion rubles. The service is used by more than 40 thousand suppliers from all regions of Russia. VTB announced this on September 27, 2022.

The number of goods and services on the platform exceeds 1 million items. The most popular categories among buyers − office goods, furniture, banking and office equipment, as well as repair work and transport services.

In 2022, additional procedures appeared on the Business Connect platform - procurement among a closed accredited pool of suppliers and multi-lot procurement, in which the customer purchases several different lots of goods or services, and suppliers can submit a separate application for each lot.

It is important for us to develop the functionality of the platform, as it helps entrepreneurs from anywhere in the country to find buyers for their goods and services, and organizations to reduce transaction costs. Due to the use of the service, VTB saved more than 300 million rubles in just eight months of 2022, which exceeds the result of 2021 more than twice. Changes and improvements to the platform functionality allow more purchases through it. This has a positive effect both on the timing of procurement procedures and on the overall savings of the bank, − said Spartak Solonin, head of the corporate digital business department − senior vice president of VTB.

The platform is free for customers and allows them to make purchases without limiting amounts. Only the winning supplier pays the commission. Its size is 1.5% of the cost of the purchase won, but not more than 30 thousand rubles (in the request for proposals section) and 2% − in the catalog.

2019: Integration with Moscow Suppliers Portal
