Xiaomi Mijia M30 Pro (robot vacuum cleaner)

2023: Product Announcement

At the end of November 2023, Xiaomi announced the Mijia M30 Pro robot vacuum cleaner with an artificial intelligence-based feature set. One of the features of the device is a system for trimming hair wound on a roller brush during cleaning.

The novelty is capable of dry and wet cleaning of premises. An AI navigation system has been implemented with the ability to recognize a variety of objects (55 types), and a smart algorithm for determining pollution is able to detect areas that require more thorough cleaning in real time. The robot can heat water to 60 degrees Celsius to effectively wash floors and remove the most persistent stains, such as dried drops of ketchup.

An automatic hair removal system is built into the base. After the cleaning is completed, the robot returns to the station, where a special blade cuts the strands wound on the brush. This system not only simplifies maintenance, but also extends the life of the device. Removed hair is sucked into the dust collector of the station. There are several degrees of protection to ensure the safety of users and pets.

A dirt container and a clean water tank with a capacity of 4 liters are built into the base. This allows the robot to automatically clean the onboard dust collector and replenish the water tank, so that the device can function completely independently for a long time without requiring any attention. The equipment includes a night vision system and a lidar-based LDS complex for building accurate maps of the room. Suction power reaches 7000 Pa. You can control the robot through a mobile application or through voice commands. At the beginning of December 2023, the price of the Mijia M30 Pro is approximately $660.^[1]
