Optimization of work with co-financing of discounts
On Yandex Market, sellers will now find it more convenient to work with co-financing discounts. This is a joint discount from the store and marketplace: the seller indicates the minimum price at which he is ready to sell the product, and the service analyzes the demand for it and co-finances the same discount as the seller, or more. It has become easier for stores to monitor how many products with such discounts have sold over the past 30 days and how much Market has invested in them. Yandex announced this on March 7, 2024.
You can work with co-financing in the improved section "Prices" of the seller's personal account on the Market. In this section, the store can now see detailed information about the benefits of co-financing - including revenue for goods sold with joint discounts over the past 30 days. And in the order report, Market will show co-financing analytics for each item sold.
The service will tell the seller what the minimum cost of the goods to set so that its goods fall under the conditions of participation in the program. For this, in "Prices" there is now a column "Threshold for co-financing." And the "Co-financing" filter will help sort goods by group: with the recommended threshold set, with the threshold set without taking into account the recommendation, as well as without the threshold set.
More than 35% of Market sellers already use co-financing. To start working with this tool and get an additional discount from the Market - on average, 23% for March 2024 - you need to set a threshold and carefully work with the price of the product. If it is attractive or moderate compared to competitors on the Internet, the store has a better chance that the service will make a joint discount. For a store, co-financing is beneficial because a reduced value sale occurs only if both the seller and Market reduce the price together.
Ability to analyze sales in detail using the Sales Factors tool
The Sales Factors tool has been updated in the Yandex Market seller's personal account. Representatives of the marketplace reported this on February 16, 2024.
With its help, you can now analyze in detail sales for any time period and see your key indicators, for example, prices for goods and turnover, in comparison with the market. The updated name of the tool, Sales Diagnostics, reflects the request of sellers for comprehensive and deep analytics.
"Diagnostics of Sales" is designed to conduct a full "check" of the business: sellers got access to five additional schedules: "Orders and Amounts," "Sales Boom," "Goods with Shares," "Prices for Goods" and "Category." All sections are available on the same page for the convenience of sellers.
In the Prices of Goods section, you can see how many goods were sold at attractive, moderate and unattractive prices. In the section "Goods with shares" - how the number of goods that were shown to buyers and participated in promotions changed.
The Orders and Amounts graph shows how the quantity and sales volume of the ordered items has changed. With it, sellers will be able to assess how factors that influence product displays ultimately determined the number of orders and revenue.
In the "Category" section, sellers will be able to track how the total turnover in the category has changed, as well as the share of their own sales.
Access to the tool is free and unlimited for all sellers of the service. Entrepreneurs will also be able to use decisions made on the basis of Sales Diagnostics to improve business efficiency at other sites, Yandex Market noted.
2023: Analytical Tool to View Local Sales Share

The share of your local sales on the Market can be viewed in the Sales Geography report in your personal account on the service. These data reflect how many percent of the goods in the last 30 days went to the buyer without changing the federal district. At the end of the year, 76% of orders from Market are delivered to buyers within the same federal districts where the service warehouses with goods are located. This means that sellers of these products can count on discounts.
Discounts on logistics services will take effect from February 1, 2024. Therefore, sellers will have time to distribute goods to the regional warehouses of Market.
To make it easier for stores to establish local sales, Market also extended until the end of February 2024 special conditions for sellers regarding the storage and transit of goods. If the store had not previously placed goods in service warehouses in the regions, and buyers from there repeatedly made orders, the cost of transiting the box to any warehouse except Moscow is 10 ₽. At the same time, storage of goods in the warehouses of "Market" is free.
2020: Possibility of connection to delivery "Russian Post"
Stores from 18 cities received the possibility of a simplified connection to delivery by Russian Post through their personal account on the Yandex.Market. This was announced on July 30, 2020 by the Russian Post.
In the spring, Yandex.Market and Russian Post launched a pilot project in which Moscow stores could connect mail delivery of their orders directly in Market's personal account. Then the assortment available to regional users increased by 3 million offers.
Now stores can connect to the project not only from the capital, but also from 17 more cities: St. Petersburg, Volgograd, Voronezh, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Krasnoyarsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Perm, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Ufa, Chelyabinsk, Krasnodar, Yaroslavl, Tyumen.
Stores can conclude an offer agreement with the Russian Post in the Market's personal account, without exchanging paper documents. After concluding the agreement, the seller needs to indicate to which regions he will deliver his goods by the Russian Post, and choose a tariff for auto-calculating the terms of delivery. After that, Market, whose daily audience for July 2020 reaches 4 million a day, will begin showing store offers with delivery by Russian Post in the regions that he indicated in his personal account.
The Market estimates the number of service partners who can take part in the pilot at 20 thousand. This is about 80% of all stores that are located on the service. They will be able to increase the number of orders by expanding the geography of sales. In addition, this project will make online shopping more accessible: there are post offices even in the most remote settlements of Russia.
