2021: Platform Launch

On November 17, 2021, MasterCard and Yandex launched the Yandex and Mastercard Business Academy information online platform for small businesses. The mission of the project is to simplify for entrepreneurs access to the necessary knowledge and skills to conduct their business: from creating an idea to a financial model. Participants of the Academy will not only receive theoretical knowledge, but will also be able to work it out in practice. The project is implemented by Mastercard and Yandex as part of the strategic cooperation of companies.

The program consists of five information modules: "Where to start and how to arrange everything?," "How to attract customers and which sales channels to choose?," "Where to find funding and how to manage money?," "How to organize business processes and manage the team?," "How to scale and where growth points are hidden?." In these and many other issues, the mentors of the Yandex and Mastercard Business Academy will help to understand - experts, current representatives of large Russian and international companies.

To start completing the course, those who wish need to register on the Yandex and Mastercard Business Academy website and talk about themselves and their business. Participants will have access to the personal account and video of the first module, presentations, check lists and recommendations. Based on the results of each of the five modules, the project organizers will select the most outstanding students based on their activity and quality of tasks. The winners will have the opportunity to go through a rich intensity in Moscow to analyze the cases of their own enterprises together with the mentors of the Yandex and Mastercard Business Academy.
