YARUS WMS (English Warehouse Management System) is a warehouse management system that provides automation and optimization of all warehouse processes of a specialized enterprise. The YARUS WMS specialized software platform is used to automate various types of warehouses, including geographically divided ones. YARUS WMS is our own development of a modern warehouse management solution based on the 1C: Enterprise 8 platform.

TMS module in WMS YARUS system

Previously, class systems TMS were allocated to a separate category of information systems for automating planning and management processes transport using electronic maps. With the development of logistic services, the tasks of planning and managing transport have become available, and now it is possible to make seamless integration WMS and TMS by full aggregation of GPS tracking services, electronic cards in a single WMS system.

Yarus WMS High Performance on Open Source Platform

In order to optimize the cost of the "iron" part and in the trend of reducing dependence on non-reliable software suppliers, TIER engineers completely transferred the entire stack to open source solutions. 2017: Composition and purpose of the system

As of January 2017, the Yarus WMS warehouse management system included tools:

• to manage warehouse topology
• for storage area management (allocation of dynamic and static storage areas, sampling channels)
• Warehouse Transaction Planning (DIRECT or ASSIST mode)
• resource management (tracking current activity, adjusting with if necessary)
• application of various methods of cargo storage and handling

The YARUS WMS platform is designed to solve the following problems:

• Excess staffing. It turns into a single warehouse management center in real time, allows you to assess the effectiveness of each resource used in the warehouse.
• Dependence on unique performers. The warehouse management system at any time will tell you where the product is located and which route is better to choose for assembly - picking the order. There is an opportunity to attract hired - seasonal personnel with a low level of qualifications.
• Inspection of batches and expiry dates. For product warehouses, accounting by production dates is relevant, followed by write-off by shelf life. For "construction" warehouses (construction and finishing materials), accounting for batches is relevant, for example, for shades of wallpaper or tile color with an identical article. As a result, an increase in the level of service, a decrease in illiquids in the warehouse, and the absence of penalties from chains for expired goods.
• Actual remnants. When implementing an address storage system, managers always have access to information about real inventory balances in the corporate system.
• Reduce errors during the assembly operation - picking orders. When using radio data collection terminals (bar coding technology), the number of complaints from customers is reduced, on average, to 1.5%
• Inventory accuracy. The warehouse management system allows you to carry out both full and partial audits of the selected bins - goods at any time without stopping the warehouse. Implementation results show the limits of deviation from accounting balances not more than 1%
