X-Com has optimized the information system of ElectroMIR

2023: IT Infrastructure Development

On March 2, 2023, the X-Com Group of Companies announced that it had completed a project for the development of the information system of ElectroMIR, a Russian supplier of electrical and cable-conductor products. As a result, the storage system meets the current requirements of the customer's business and creates a reliable infrastructure basis for its further growth.

Due to the constant growth of critical data from the associated workloads, the resources of the existing storage system at the customer began to approach the limit of hardware capabilities. There was a need for its modernization and scaling.

The X-Com project team analyzed the tasks of ElectroMIR and conducted an audit, IT infrastructures including network server and equipment, system, data storage system and application. Based on software the results data , a technical project was developed, providing for the integration of a number of additional network Synology storage RS3618xs. The devices are supplied with 24 disks Seagate 8TB each and are integrated into the customer's information system. A full cycle of commissioning and testing has been completed.
