The St. Petersburg Tariff Committee, within the framework of the Effective Region program, implemented on behalf of Governor Alexander Beglov, optimized a number of its work processes by introducing three software robots. In St. Petersburg, the introduction of lean technologies into the activities of state authorities within the framework of the Effective Region program continues. Software robots implemented in the Tariff Committee showed impressive results. For example, one of the solutions optimized the time spent by employees on publishing and sending legal acts by 6 times, - said the vice-governor of St. Petersburg Stanislav Kazarin.

The Tariff Committee shall issue legal acts in the form of orders with the attached protocols for setting tariffs in the areas of heat supply; water supply and drainage; electric power; tariffs gas sold to the population; transportation of passengers and baggage by rail transport in suburban traffic, as well as fees for technological connection in the listed areas.

One of the robots was introduced into the department of regulatory, legal and judicial work, as a result of which the time for publishing and sending legal acts to resource-supplying organizations and the prosecutor's office of St. Petersburg was optimized. Documents are sent through the Unified System of Electronic Document Management and workflow of the Executive Bodies of State Power of St. Petersburg (ESEDD).

The process of forming one letter by department employees and sending it through the EDMS system can take up to half an hour. The robot copes with this task in 5 minutes. This allows you to save up to half a day of employees and direct the resource to other, more important tasks.

Two more robots in the Tariff Committee were introduced into the department of regional state control and administrative production. One of them monitors the register of licenses for pharmaceutical activities within the framework of regional state control over the use of prices for drugs included in the list of vital and essential drugs.

Another checks the register of certificates for the right to conduct a technical inspection of vehicles for the implementation of regional state control (supervision) over compliance with the maximum amount of payment for the maintenance of the vehicle and the amount of payment for issuing a duplicate diagnostic card on paper.

Robots implemented in the control department independently update the registers of control objects of the Tariff Committee. This reduces internal labor costs by half, and also eliminates the need for employees to perform repetitive operations, excluding errors.

By the end of 2024, it is planned to modernize robots, which will expand their functionality.

The specialists of the St. Petersburg Information and Analytical Center introduced software robots into the activities of the Tariff Committee .
