The project on implementation of the automated control system for traffic of Traffic SL in Novosibirsk was included into Bank of solutions of the project of digitalization of municipal economy "Smart city". On March 20, 2019 reported about it in Softline company, the ASUDD developer.
The Smart City project is implemented by the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation within the national projects "Housing and Urban Environment" and "Digital Economy". It is directed to improving competitiveness of the Russian cities, formation of an effective management system for municipal economy, creation of safe and comfortable conditions for life of citizens. For the solution of these tasks the National Competence Center (NCC) which creates the register of the projects which are already implemented in the different cities of Russia and proved the efficiency is created. As of March 20 the Bank of solutions includes 264 projects approved by NTsK.
Traffic SL is included in the concept of Softline "The region of the future" and intended for management of traffic light objects of transport infrastructure both at certain intersections, and on a street road network of all city. A system in real time performs collecting and information transfer about a situation on roads and helps the staff of TsODD to optimize regulation by traffic. The solution is completely Russian development, noted in Softline.
As of March, 2019 the management system for traffic flows developed by Softline proved the efficiency on one of the most loaded transport sections of the city of Novosibirsk – Stantsionnaya Street. So, according to results of implementation of a pilot project in Novosibirsk trip time on route on the selected section was reduced by 18%, the average speed of the movement of traffic flow increased by 19%, and the quantity of stops decreased by 47%, specified in the company.
