In the Rostov region the alternative channel of communication for authorities is created. The Code of Security reported about it on September 14, 2020.

The main threat of information security consists in slabozashchishchenny communication channels. Public authorities as malefactors want to catch illegally data of citizens are most subject to the attacks and to use them in the purposes. Especially sharply it was shown in the period of a pandemic when the main loading fell to data networks, and only high-quality and their smooth operation allowed to provide continuously activity of networks and to render electronic services to citizens.

To avoid negative effects, the government of the Rostov region implements the project on creation of an alternative channel of communication of corporate network based on products of Code of Security company. The project will be complete until the end of 2020.

The solution allows to perform stable data transmission in hard-to-reach spots, also in addition to distribute loading between data networks.

The company noted that distinctive feature of the Continent complex is the opportunity for work in multiservice data networks, with automatic switching between the main and reserve communication channels and compatibility with modern protocols of audio of video of conference communication.

Within implementation of the national program "Digital Economy of Russia", according to the Decree of the Russian President of May 7, 2018 No. 204 "About the national purposes and strategic problems of development of the Russian Federation until 2024" the question of information system protection and services is one of priority tasks. Ensuring smooth operation of data networks should be organized at all levels of authorities. The project implemented in the Rostov region assumes creation of 89 nodes after all executive authorities and municipal entities of the Rostov region.

Key indicator of the National project is decrease in an average term of idle time of the state information systems as a result of the computer attacks, at the same time executive authorities of the Rostov region mainly use domestic software.

The main objective set by the governor of the Rostov region Vasily Golubev - ensuring smooth operation of government institutions of the Rostov region and also mechanisms of interaction of citizens and authorities with the high level of information security.
