MegaFon and administration of the Vladimir region agreed about development of digital economy

2019: The agreement on interaction on creation of a digital medium in the territory of the region

On September 9, 2019 the MegaFon company announced signing with administration of the Vladimir region soglasheniz about interaction on creation of a digital medium in the territory of the region within implementation of the federal program "Digital Economy".

The agreement was signed by the governor of the Vladimir region Vladimir Sipyagin and the CEO of Megafon Gevork Vermishyan. The parties agreed about cooperation with the purpose of optimization of telecom infrastructure and to implementation of digital projects which solve important social and economic problems of the region and lay the foundation for its further development within the state program in digitalization.

MegaFon has a broad spectrum of different solutions and is ready to their implementation in the territory of the region. On the basis of the analysis of Big Data we already propose solutions of the social importance for management of tourist flows and city infrastructure. We are sure that our cooperation will promote digitalization of the region in general and to the solution of important social tasks — the CEO of MegaFon Gevork Vermishyan said.

Existence of mobile communication and the Internet are an indicator of security and quality of life of people. From any locality of the region there has to be an opportunity to phone to operational services: ambulance, Ministry of Emergency Situations, police. Inhabitants of rural territories on an equal basis with citizens should have an opportunity from the mobile device to come on the Internet portal Gosuslug, to make an appointment with the doctor and so on. It is necessary to remove communication barriers to business.
