At the end of May 2025, the Government of the Russian Federation resumed the issuance of grants for projects of industrial competence centers (ICC). Among them is a digitalization project implemented by the Nizhny Novgorod Automobile Plant (AZ NAZ LLC). A grant of 76.1 million rubles was allocated for it.

According to TAdviser in the office of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Grigorenko, within the framework of this project it is planned to develop and implement a digital platform for solving and tracing quality problems and interaction with suppliers. It is assumed that the system that is needed for automated quality control of the production process will allow you to quickly inform about quality problems, automatically collect and process information about them and create a knowledge base for their typical solutions.

As conceived by the initiators of the project, thanks to its implementation, AZ NAZ LLC will increase the speed of solving problems by 20%, and the level of costs in the guarantee will decrease by 1.2%. Projected profit growth - 5-15%, reduction in product launch - from 15 to 30%, reduction in total logistics costs. The development and implementation of the platform was entrusted to Intech Consulting.

The Nizhny Novgorod Automobile Plant produces light and medium-tonnage commercial vehicles for small and medium-sized businesses, various industries, utilities, agricultural enterprises, medical and school institutions.

In total, 49 projects will be implemented within the second wave: 17 of them receive grant funding, the other 32 projects will be carried out at the expense of companies' own funds. The completion of 86% of the selected projects of the second wave is planned until 2027 inclusive.
