BGT, Berezovsky cargo terminal (InStock WMS (IsWMS))

In 2018 the company InStock Technologies executed the project on implementation warehouse management systems InStock WMS on warehouse a complex of the company "Berezovsky Cargo Terminal" (BCT).

For further growth in business, the company management of "BGT", made the decision on implementation of the modern and convenient automation system of a warehouse. System implementation allowed to win the tender for the choice of service provider of safe custody. Existence in a warehouse of the automated control system for a warehouse was the compulsory provision of participation in the tender. It was necessary to win the tender in a short time to unroll in a warehouse the full-fledged WMS meeting all requirements of the potential client and also to reorganize a number of workflows.

Selection of goods packagings what the company did not face earlier had to become one of such processes, and WMS had to help to perform it quickly and qualitatively. Need to trace a unique SSCC product code from its arrival on a warehouse and before shipment that without WMS would be very difficult became other feature. Also the high speed of work was important.

The InStock WMS system offered by InStock Technologies company and also the implementation technique "Easy start" allowing to implement implementation in short terms became an optimal variant at a stage of the choice of developer company. The flexibility of a system allowed to organize work properly as it was required by the company client.

For implementation at first the functionality of goods acceptance was finished in such a way that it became possible to execute "confidential" acceptance by the SSCC code – having scanned the SSCC code of a pallet, a system obtained information on the goods which are on it at once without need to enter it on the shipping documentation.

Also the functionality of control of expiration dates of the shipped goods was improved – it became possible to set restrictions for a residual expiration date not only on the partner receiver of goods, but also and by nomenclature groups in one partner.

During the project the set of the small completions which allowed to accelerate all processes and to improve control, for example, an automatic podstavleniye of dimensions a pallet at acceptance, signaling of a system about delay of transport, the additional icons on orders allowing to see at once their features was executed ("cold goods", "the expired expiration date", "the goods are not placed" and others).

As a result of system implementation of management of the warehouse InStock WMS, BGT LLC received the full-fledged WMS capable to meet high requirements of the quality standards of the large customer, such as end-to-end tracking of goods from acceptance on a warehouse before shipment to clients of the company, work with various conditions on expiration dates, laying of goods by weight groups, requirements to the pallets created of shipment, work with boxed selection of goods.

On a response of the Customer, the InStock WMS system helped to accustom quickly with new requirements to business processes, and from the first days of implementation to execute large volumes of orders from clients.
