2019: Control automation by claims

On December 5, 2019 1C-Rarus announced control automation by claims in BSH Bytovye pribory LLC using the system created based on "1C:Enterprise 8". This system integrated 17 separate bases, provided information exchange between departments. As a result the processing speed of a claim grew by 70%, at the same time job cost with claims decreased by 73%. Accounting of the marked-down and utilized household appliances is organized. Preparation of the reporting began to take twice less time.

The BSH Home Appliances Group concern entering into the Bosch Group — one of global manufacturers of home appliances with huge network of the service centers. In Russia the concern is presented by BSH Household Appliances company with office in Moscow, the logistic center in the item Bykovo, industrial complex in St. Petersburg and branches in Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, to Rostovenadon and Minsk.

The logistics division of the company monthly processes a huge number of claims from all regions. Earlier for operational accounting 17 different bases were used, they were not integrated among themselves therefore data had to be transferred manually.

Errors which required additional rechecks and calculations resulted. Loss and duplication of information led to difficult communications in divisions.

Process of analysis of claims was long, difficult and inefficient: processing of one claim could take up to 2.5 months. The single automated system which would allow to unify accounting of claims was required and to reduce time for their processing.

The management of BSH Bytovye Pribory LLC made the decision on accounting system implementation with the help "1srarus".

Experts "1srarus" developed a single system for reporting according to claims using the developed system from scratch based on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform.

Operational data exchange with an internal corporate system is provided, information accuracy is increased, transfers and duplication of data are excluded. Build process of the reporting which was earlier created of different sources manually is automated. The interface in two languages was developed: Russian and English — for convenience of users. 50 jobs are automated.

The project is executed in 2 months using flexible project methodology of Agile that allowed business to achieve main objectives and problems of implementation in the minimum terms.

  • Thanks to a single system the efficiency of work with claims grew. Accounting of all entering and outgoing claims is implemented. Processing of a claim on average began to borrow time 70% less, and cost value of such work decreased by 73%.
  • Accounting of movements of the damaged materials in a quality control zone and also accounting of the marked-down and utilized household appliances is organized.
  • Operational data exchange with an internal corporate system is provided and communications between users of different departments are adjusted, information accuracy is increased, transfers and duplication of data are excluded. The quantity of errors was cut by half.
  • Due to reduction for 40% of operational work and for 80% — administrative, labor productivity of employees grew.
  • The reporting which was earlier created of different sources manually gathers automatically and twice quicker.

Joint work of divisions of the business analysis, logistics and IT allowed to carry out in a short space of time reengineering of process and its automation. The implemented system for us — the guarantor of effective management of processing of claims. In a system manual work is minimized that allows to avoid annoying errors, and the configured integration with an internal system accelerates data transmission and reflects an overall picture of work of divisions. Process of reporting became more transparent, labor costs were reduced by data collection and preparation of reports.

Terms of processing of claims decreased since several weeks till several o'clock. Effective cooperation with the company "1srarus' brought positive results, in our next plans process optimization of control of transport, controls of the equipment,
