Omnicomm implemented Omnicomm transport monitoring system in Bashneftegeofizika company

May 21, 2015. The Omnicomm company announced project implementation on equipment of vehicle fleet and implementation Omnicomm transport monitoring system in Bashneftegeofizika Group.

In February, 2014 the management of Bashneftegeofizika Group made the decision on replacement of the existing transport monitoring system by Omnicomm. 4 months later the first stage of retrofitting of vehicle fleet was completed, representatives of the company integrator reported TAdviser.

This solution was commented by the head of the department of management of productive activity Shamil Shaislamov: "Earlier we used a monitoring system of transport of other producers which did not suit us for a number of reasons: unreliability and inaccuracy of indications of fuel level sensors, lack of qualitative services and also high cost of operation of the equipment. With respect thereto we made the decision on retrofitting of the specialized equipment of our company the Omnicomm system".

Equipping of Bashneftegeofizika vehicle fleet took place on the job with departure of mounting groups on equipment work location. Commenting on an innovation, Shamil Shaislamov noted that a system promoted optimization of workflows that in turn resulted not only in economic effect, but also to increase in efficiency of management decisions. "Thanks to this system the number of delay of geophysical batches decreased by wells of the customer twice due to optimization of workflows and permanent monitoring of operation of the equipment in real time. In 6 months of operation we managed to reach considerable economic effect. Economy of fuel made 300 tons. Further we are going to retrofit completely our park of vehicles the Omnicomm system", - he added.
