Aerodisk will help Bergauf scale disk capacity DSS

2022: Purchase Plan for Additional 24 Data Drives

Aerodisk, a Russian developer and manufacturer of solutions in the field of data storage and virtualization, on July 22, 2022 announced the expansion of cooperation with Bergauf, which works in the development, production and sale of building materials on the Russian market.

Historically, Bergauf is the first customer of Aerodisk, representing the segment of commercial companies: this construction company with its head office in Yekaterinburg and a representative office in Moscow, became one of the first users of the SCAerodisk Engine N2 almost immediately after the release of the first models of the solution on the market in the first half of the 2010s.

The company was looking for a simple and affordable solution for servicing the tasks of storing the classic complex of corporate IT resources and data related to their work: e-mail, telephony system, website and its archive, backups of data from corporate accounting systems, user accounts, etc.

The initial implementation project of the solution began with sending the equipment for testing to the company: its capabilities and functionality were demonstrated to the customer within 2 days after installation, after which a positive decision was made in favor of the commercial deployment of the Aerodisk Engine N2.

It was fully implemented over the next 7 days: full integration into the customer's IT landscape, configuration, training, and commissioning to Bergauf's IT department.

The solution is stable for several years of continuous operation: the company buys additional disk capacity as the volume of operations grows.

Bergauf is planning another upgrade of DSS resources. In particular, an additional 24 drives will be purchased for, and data storage another Engine N2 controller is planned.
