State problems of design and solution
Accomplishment of the state defense order and Federal space program demanded from CDB of the modern productive automated design engineering systems providing fast and high-quality product development.
CDB TM made the decision on transition to the KOMPAS-3D system.
Result
The software was set on jobs of engineers in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
In design divisions of the enterprise, in Moscow and St. Petersburg, 80 jobs are equipped with the three-dimensional modeling system KOMPAS-3D with applications for machine-building and construction design, for design of land space infrastructure and command posts of management.
The project is implemented during 2010.
Post-project plans
In the near future the Central design bureau of heavy mechanical engineering is going to equip with the software of ASCON fifty more jobs, to implement a management system for engineering data and to pass completely to modern technologies of electronic design (CAD).
