Implementation objectives

Taking into account the scope of its activities, the CDS Group faced a number of challenges related to the management of project documentation. The main tasks that the company planned to solve with the help of Vitro-CAD pigs included the organization and structured storage of data, updating drawings on construction sites and abandoning paper documentation.

Implementation process

The Vitro-CAD implementation project began in October 2021 and went through several key stages.

1. Organize the storage structure.
2. Fill the site with data.
3. Set up and implement automated processes.
4. Put the system into commercial operation.
5. Set up reports. Development of the system.

The company has implemented Vitro-CAD pigs and additional modules of Vitro Process Manager, Vitro QR-coder, which has provided an integrated approach to automating work processes. Setting up the system taking into account the corporate requirements of the CDS Group made it possible to make the most of its functionality.

Results achieved

The introduction of Vitro-CAD brought significant results to the CDS Group. More than 450 users work in the system, data storage for 50 + projects is organized, more than 18,000 approval processes have been launched. The key achievements were the automated release of documentation, the rejection of paper and always up-to-date documentation at the construction site. The implementation of the system made it much easier to find and agree on drawings. As a result, the company was able to reduce the time to complete the tasks and increase the overall efficiency of work by integrating the pig with internal products.

Thanks to the Vitro-CAD system, we reduced the cost of producing paper working documentation sets by fully automating the process of releasing work through pig launchers, as well as launching work processes for exchanging tasks and coordinating related disciplines. The implementation of the decision to add subcontractors made it possible to quickly transmit information about the changes being introduced. Plans for the future

The CDS Group plans to further develop the functionality of Vitro-CAD, including integration with the construction control system MonStr, the transition to the import-independent platform Vitro MP with the transfer of a large amount of data for all projects, affecting versionality and preserving the structure. This will increase the level of digitalization and achieve more efficient work at all stages of the implementation of construction projects.
