2022: Provision of cardiac monitoring service

In November 2022, a cardiac monitoring service is available free of charge for patients of the Central City Clinical Hospital of Kaliningrad who have indications for clinical monitoring of blood pressure. The main task of the service is to promptly monitor the dynamics of the patient's condition and accelerate the correction of the course of treatment. The service turns out to be using telemedicine technologies. This became known on November 11, 2022.

In June 2022, the Central City Clinical Hospital began pilot operation of the EISAD solution (Unified Medical Information System for Remote Monitoring of Blood Pressure). During this time, all the features of the telemedicine product were taken into account: the geography of patients' residence, the features of the work of data transmission operators, and not only. In October, an agreement was reached to test the new service. For the first time in the Kaliningrad region, patients of the Central Clinical Hospital polyclinic who have problems with blood pressure can receive a full-fledged heart monitoring course for free.

For the duration of monitoring, patients remain at home - there is no need for accommodation in a hospital hospital. The main thing is to comply with the recommendations of the attending physician and regularly independently take measurements using a special pressure meter issued in the clinic. Specialists of the Medical Center for Monitoring and Diagnostics help each patient individually: from time to time they learn about their well-being by phone, monitor the regularity of measurements, deviations from the norm. In case of deterioration - immediately inform the doctor.

The role of the operator of information support for doctors and patients was assumed by the partners of the Center for Medical Technologies, the developer of the EISAD platform. The service is available daily. At the same time, the patient who is on home monitoring should not additionally contact the Polyclinic until the end of the observation course. All issues are resolved remotely.

As of November 2022, the project is valid for patients of the Polyclinic Department of the Central City Clinical Hospital of Kaliningrad. The decision on scaling in the region will be made upon the completion of the pilot project by the Ministry of Health of the region.
