2022: Implementation of Primo RPA
The Chelyabinsk Zinc Plant has introduced the domestic Primo RPA platform as part of the modernization of processes and the transition to Russian software. Initially, the project started from the supply unit, where price monitoring and application control were automated. Robotization then spread to finance, HR and production support functions.
In accounting, RPA automated the formation of payment orders, reconciliation of settlements and eliminated manual entry errors. In supply, robots control price offers and redistribute materials, and the effect of implementation is measured in millions of rubles in the first month. HR processes have automated personnel accounting and temporary transfers, which freed up tens of hours of employees every month.
The manufacturing unit uses RPA for data processing and reporting, supporting intelligent control systems. Due to robotization, ChTsZ employees are relieved of routine load, and the accuracy of operations has increased significantly.
Until 2026, the plant plans to scale RPA into all key functions, develop internal expertise and implement AI elements for hyperautomatization. The introduction of Primo RPA fully paid off in less than two months and became part of UMMC's digital leadership strategy.
