Ciklum purchased DWH from EMC

On August 18, 2015 announced Softline Ukraine project implementation on creation in Ciklum company of a storage system on the platform of technologies of EMS.

The internal Ciklum portal was used as a single platform for development processes of the software, interaction of employees and simplification and exchange of corporate documents. In process of growth of business there was a task to provide big data availability and to increase reliability of their storage.

Project Progress

For the solution of this task IT specialists of Ciklum tested several solutions of DWH producers. According to the results of testing a choice was made for benefit of storage system of EMS of the VNXe series with the iSCSI interface, with a capacity of disk of 30 TV and a possibility of further scaling. The solution was optimal: It is easy for DWH to scale adding of disk shelves. Besides, in the course of testing the storage system showed optimum levels of performance and reliability.

Project Results

The customer could avoid inefficient approach in use of the separate information blocks which are stored on different servers, to consolidate and secure data storage using DWH.
