In the middle of June, 2020 Coca-Cola and Centrapay signed the partnership agreement which will allow users to pay for purchases in vending machines of Australia and New Zealand using cryptocurrency through the Sylo Smart Wallet application.

The Centrapay company stated that its platform "helps brands to work directly with individuals and to raise income and efficiency of sellers". The CEO of the company Jerome Faury considers that the platform will allow to overcome complexity of integration and unpleasant experience of users which interfere with implementation of such technologies as digital identification and assets.

Clients of Amatil can use a digital purse of Sylo Smart Wallet on any of 2000 vending machines of Coca-Cola with special stickers on which the QR code is represented. They are located across all New Zealand and Australia and will accept payments in cryptocurrency or other digital assets provided that on the smartphone of the user the Sylo Smart Wallet application is installed.

Besides, Centrapay considers that transactions with digital assets are the ideal solution in the conditions of COVID-19 pandemic as allows buyers not to touch the vending machine.[1]
