The corporate retail chain "Dodo Pizza" became the first company in Russia to introduce audio and video analytics technologies based on artificial intelligence in the process of recruiting personnel to combat personnel hunger. This became known on July 31, 2024.
According to analysts at SteadyControl, which developed the system, companies miss up to 30% of applicants due to non-compliance with interview standards. Thanks to the introduction of SteadyControl, Dodo Pizza digitized 135 interviews in a month and received more than 2 thousand ratings from interviews.
The idea of digitizing recruitment processes is associated with a serious personnel shortage in public catering. The pizza chain believes that the technology will help increase conversion at each stage of the applicant's interaction with the company - from interviews to the end of the internship, reduce the cost of hiring an employee and the rate of staff turnover.
The process of talking with a potential employee is recorded through cameras and microphones in pizzerias and integration with telephony in the offices of recruiters. The developers emphasize that SteadyControl does not collect or store biometric data, but for identification it operates with data from the applicant's questionnaire.
Dodo Pizza plans to completely digitize the route of a pizzeria employee: from calling to motivation, training and growth in the company. In addition, the network is thinking about launching the digitization of the onboarding and internship stages.
