The public law company Roskadastre"" acquired the VTOL "Legionnaire 29" unmanned aerial vehicles for branches in,, and Chelyabinsk Pyatigorsk. To Moscow Delivery of the first batch drones was completed in November 2024.

According to the press service of the Kalashnikov concern, drones manufactured by the Quiet Wings group of companies are supplied with two types of engines - gasoline and electric.

The devices are capable of performing a wide range of tasks, including aerial photography, aerial laser scanning, video monitoring, aeromagnetic photography and fire patrol. Drones can also be used for search and rescue, ice reconnaissance and cargo delivery.

Legionnaire 29 has a maximum flight duration of 5.2 hours with a payload and can cover distances of up to 520 km. The drone reaches speeds of up to 120 km/h and is capable of operating at temperatures from -30 to + 40 degrees Celsius.

For takeoff and landing, the device requires a platform measuring 10 by 10 meters. The drone remains stable in winds of up to 15 meters per second. The manufacturer guarantees a life of 100 flights or one year of operation.

The equipment of drones can vary depending on the needs of the customer. Different target loads can be added to the base version. The inter-service interval is up to 100 flight hours.

The manufacturing company provides full post-sales service, accompanying the operators throughout the life cycle of the aircraft. The main customer of drones is the State Transport Leasing Company.

The acquired devices will allow Roskadastra to increase the efficiency of cartographic work and monitoring of territories, as well as expand the range of services provided.[1]
