Enel Rossiya started a pilot project on implementation of technologies of the mixed reality at the enterprise of Nevinnomyssk state district power plant

On December 15, 2017 the companies HoloGroup and "Enel Russia" announced start of a pilot project on implementation of technologies of the mixed reality at the enterprise of the Nevinnomyssk state district power plant, one of the largest thermal power stations of the North Caucasus. Points of the mixed reality Microsoft HoloLens will be used for holding a session of trainings of personnel on switchings on high-voltage lines. Such solution will allow to keep track timely of faults and to prepare for an output in repair a high-voltage transmission line, thereby reducing to a minimum risk of emergency, capable to lead to power outage (blackout).

The distribution manifold of power plant consists of high-voltage lines which provide supply of electricity to end consumers. That at an output in repair of one of such lines to avoid malfunctions in power supply system, specialists carry out preparatory work. The holographic instruction with visual audio-hints ensures correct functioning of the operator who holds a session of trainings for the staff of the station of the wearing spectacles mixed reality of Microsoft HoloLens.
