2020: Creation of e2e-network in the Moscow headquarters
The Ericsson company unrolled in Russia an e2e-cellular transmission network of fifth generation (5G) with autonomous architecture (SA). The network is unrolled in the territory of Center 5G of innovations located in the company headquarters in Moscow in BC Metropolis. The network is built on the equipment of a radio access of the Ericsson Radio System family and the containerized core and supports the frequency ranges of 2100 MHz, 1800 MHz, 3500 MHz, in the future support of millimetric range will also appear. The network is ready to testings of scenarios of use of technologies 5G in different spheres in process of the solution of a frequency question the state regulator. In network support of technology of dynamic redistribution of a frequency resource (Ericsson Spectrum Sharing) is implemented. As the subscriber equipment the test station based on Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 5G Modem-RF System is used.
For disclosure of potential of a 5G in full in the future — advantages of low delays, peak data transfer rates up to 20 Gbps, slicing — it is necessary to be guided by autonomous architecture of a 5G. Ericsson has a complete product portfolio and solutions for deployment of technologies 5G with any frequency ranges which are used in commercial networks of operators of the world. Specialists of Ericsson have experience of start 5G SA in Russia and are ready to render to operators, mobile device manufacturers and the companies from the different industries the qualified support in deployment of new services based on a 5G networks with autonomous architecture — the director of Center 5G of innovations of Ericsson Mikhail Filimonchik says. |
It is an important step for the Russian market taking into account that the telecom industry already begins gradation with NSA on SA architecture of a 5G. SA 5G networks open the road absolutely to other services and scenarios of application. Ensuring simultaneous connection of a large number of IoT devices and low delays will make possible mass start of an industrial 5G networks, remote control drones, carrying out remote transactions in medicine and other innovation scenarios of use of a 5G — the director of business development of Qualcomm Europe Inc company noted. Sergey Korobov[1]. |
