In October 2024, it became known that the Hals-Development company began to use the latest technologies at its construction sites - exoskeletons and solutions based on mixed reality, which will significantly increase labor productivity and quality of work. As part of the Build UP program, residents of the Skolkovo innovation center presented their developments for the construction project of the Dubinin 'Sky business center in Moscow. Konstantin Mikhailik, Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Russia, noted the importance of digitalization and modernization of the industry, emphasizing the high level of innovations being introduced.
Skolkovo residents participating in the project focused on creating solutions that facilitate physical labor and speed up the process of performing construction tasks. In particular, Exorais has proposed exoskeletons EXORISE, designed to reduce the fatigue of workers and reduce the risk of occupational diseases. Thanks to the redistribution of the load and the support of the musculoskeletal system, labor productivity when using exoskeletons can increase by up to 80%.
Other technologies presented include the BRIO MRS tablet from TransInzhcom, based on mixed reality. The device allows you to integrate information BIM models directly at the construction site, providing the ability to control the accuracy of installation and plan further construction stages. Specialists can see in real time the design position of communications and structures, which reduces costs and speeds up the process.
Yuri Khakhanov, director of urban and construction technologies at the Skolkovo Foundation, said that the use of innovations such as exoskeletons and tablets with mixed reality function is part of a pilot project aimed at improving the quality of construction. He stressed that the active digitalization of processes is becoming an important factor in productivity growth in the construction sector.[1]
