"EMZ" implements digital design for works on perspective transport airplanes based on Teamcenter

On February 18, 2015 JSC EMZ im. V. M. Myasishcheva, entering into group of JSC OAK company, and Borlas consulting group signed the agreement on implementation of a software package for design developments and product lifecycle management. Solutions based on software of Siemens PLM Software will be used by engineers of "EMZ" for creation of new transport airplanes and special purpose aviation equipment.

JSC EMZ im. V. M. Myasishcheva has rich experience of creation of airplanes and special aeromechanics. Now integration of "EMZ" about "Il" is conducted and "OAK are Transport airplanes" for providing a full stroke of works on creation of the aircraft equipment. Serious reorganization and development as project research center in the created holding structure are necessary to EMZ design office.

The program of upgrade provides the organization of construction work at the new technology level, including means deployment of modern technologies of digital design and support of production for end-to-end information management, automation of development process, reduction of duration of a production cycle.

Within the signed agreement "EMZ of V.M. Myasishchev" and "Borlas" combine efforts for deployment of the digital technologies directed to increase in efficiency of design of new samples of aviation equipment. For management of the normative reference information, digital structure of a product, the archive of documentation will use a hardware and software system based on PLM systems Teamcenter from Siemens PLM Software. He will also allow to carry out a statement and making changes in design documentation, and then to transfer the productions in electronic form given for technology preparation that will reduce labor input and duration of these procedures.
