The Semya trading house implements EDI service in network of retail

On June 24, 2014 it became known of start EDI- service 1C Network for service of business processes in retail chain stores Family.

Project Tasks

In 2014 the management of retail chain stores Family made the decision on start in work EDI- service 1C Network.

Initially work with suppliers in retail chain stores was based according to the classical scheme: all orders were transferred by e-mail. Difficulties were observed: nobody monitors mail, the letter can not reach, the supplier can answer that he did not receive the letter or it is received with errors.

"We had no corrective actions on the supplier. Parallel to us it was required to simplify the procedure of acceptance of goods in shop. There was a need for obtaining delivery notes from suppliers. As forms of delivery notes at all different, it is quite problematic to receive and verify them by e-mail. As a result we began to look what solutions can simplify our work and addressed to 1C-Rarus — Vyacheslav Belchikov, the chief of the department information technologies of retail chain stores Family noted.

Staff of the company "1C-Rarus" suggested to activate EDI- service 1C Network in the accounting system "1C-Rarus: Shopping complex. Food products".

Project Progress

The project was separated into several stages:

• transfer of sending electronic orders of retail chain stores from e-mail to the EDI area
• receiving from suppliers of electronic waybills by means of EDI technologies.

Project Results

For June 24, 2014 about 60 suppliers of TD "Family" are connected to electronic exchange. Orders ceased to be lost. Representatives of retail chain stores are sure that suppliers receive orders in the form in which they are sent.
