On August 1, 2024, it became known that the Federal Treasury of Russia was updating tens of thousands of licenses for office software "P7-Office" for ₽120 million. The agency purchases the rights to renew 30.3 thousand licenses "P7-Office" for a period of 2 years. Of these, 28.3 thousand licenses are bought for the desktop version of the software, 2 thousand for the server version.

According to CNews, the tender was published on the public procurement website on May 15, 2024. On May 27, 2024, the Treasury summed up the results of the competition, the winner was the LANIT company, which is not the first time the agency has provided licenses to P7-Office. The first licenses for this software were transferred by the Ministry of Digital Science to the Treasury at the beginning of 2020 as part of the centralized purchase of the relevant software under Decree No. 658 of June 8, 2018. According to representatives of the Treasury, from that moment on, the department buys the rights to update the P7-Office software.

P7-Office is a Russian cross-platform package of applications for working with office documents. It is included in the unified register of Russian computer programs and databases. This software provides the ability to collaborate in a text editor, tables, create presentations, set tasks in the scheduler, use CRM functionality, as well as communicate through video communication or in a corporate messenger. Available in cloud, local and mobile versions, supports private cloud deployment and a range of collaboration solutions.

Earlier, the Treasury has already purchased licenses "P7-Office" - 30 thousand licenses for ₽60 million for a period of 1 year. The integrator then was also the company "Lanit." In recent years, other large companies and organizations, such as Gazprom Neft, Gazprom Dobycha Astrakhan, the TASS news agency, have also switched to P7-Office, according to the publication in early August 2024. ^[1]
