April 01, 2015. The Aistim Service company reported[1] about completion of complex automation of a fish factory "For the Homeland". The new ERP system created on the basis of industry solution "1C:Enterprise 8. Fish processing", helped to improve quality of production planning, to organize operational accounting of raw materials and finished goods on a warehouse.

The Aistim Service company became the partner in implementation. The system which covered 30 jobs integrated work of all key divisions of a fish factory: production service, warehouse, purchasing department and sales department, accounting.

Result

  • A new system helped to control a compounding and the production technology of products. There was an opportunity in the online mode to calculate the need for raw materials and the technical resources necessary for accomplishment of this or that order. Approval and transfer of orders in production accelerated. Work of production divisions is planned more rationally. It helped to optimize utilization of capacity and to reduce duration of equipment downtimes. Besides, it was succeeded to adjust control of production at different stages of a fabrication cycle that, in turn, promoted decrease in number of defects.
  • Control of costs of the enterprise is strengthened. Production costs are considered on production workshops and nomenclature groups now. The management has clear idea of amount of the spent materials at each separate production phase, can analyze a cost structure and reveal reserves for their decrease. The actual cost of the turned-out products is calculated automatically on each nomenclature position, at the same time not only expenses on raw materials, but also all other costs connected with production are considered now. As a result already in the first half a year of use of a new system the enterprise could lower production costs by 10%.
  • Operational inventory control of raw materials is organized. Regrading is almost excluded. Managers of supply always have now exact information on a remaining balance on a slada and timely plan supplier orders.
  • Staff of sales department processes orders of buyers twice quicker now that, in turn, promoted increase in number of buyers and growth of sales volumes.
  • Considerably accounting work became simpler. The number of manual transactions, time for preparation of the regulated reporting is reduced it was reduced since one week till several o'clock.
