Together with the OBIT IT partner, the FRANK by BASTA restaurant chain has modernized the video surveillance system, combining cameras at all sites of the network into a single infrastructure. OBIT announced this on January 31, 2023.

Thanks to Decision V SaaS (video surveillance as a service), OBIT launched a continuous online broadcast from certain restaurant areas. Remote control of cameras from both stationary and mobile devices provides additional opportunities to solve the tasks of monitoring compliance with service standards. Data received from cameras is analyzed by quality control and safety services in order to timely identify violations and improve the level of service. The centralized management of VSaaS made it possible to organize a single point of control and receipt of analytics through the network of institutions, to relieve the unnecessary burden of servicing equipment on the ground, and to rationally use personnel resources.

OBIT specialists conducted an audit of the FRANK by BASTA IT infrastructure and proposed a comprehensive solution for modernizing the video surveillance system with cost optimization. Since VSaaS allows you to use different types of equipment, a complete replacement of cameras was not required, and the ability to cloud data helped reduce the cost of maintaining server infrastructure. At the customer's request, content access was differentiated depending on the employee's position and functionality.
