2019: Implementation of an information system on Turbo9 platform
On May 19, 2020 the Dolgoprudny research center reported that the Russian division of the Slovenian producer of home appliances Gorenje manages sales, production orders, finance, document flow and logistics using an information system on the TURBO platform.
The Russian office Gorenje needed to build a local system most of which accurately would fit into the existing IT landscape and would include all regional specifics of conducting distribution business in Russia. A system had to support processes of forecasting of sales and planning of orders for production, a complete circuit of supply chains, process of formation of financial statements and conducting document flow.
Automation of process of charge of bonuses to partners according to the results of accomplishment of the sales plan ― to large retail chain stores, wholesale and retail sellers through the whole country was a separate important task. Multifactorial models of calculations and lack of uniform standards required implementation in future information system of smoothly running and flexible process of management of motivation of trading partners.
Automation of the large distribution company is connected with need not only processings of a large number of data, but also providing a mobile information access from different devices and platforms. Including it is valuable to the global and distributed companies, it is important to them to provide an operational mobile information access for specialists of different levels and divisions.
Logistics management was automated in Gorenje in only 4 months, and operational planning of sales ― for one and a half.

Within the project operational planning of sales on the basis of the global sales plan with allocation to specific model and approval of commercial conditions of agreements is implemented. On the basis of requirements analysis of the market in specific goods in TURBO annual and operating plans of different divisions of sales of the Russian office Gorenje form and production plans which are fixed in global corporate solution are formed.
The TURBO includes a circuit of Model range which creates cards of goods, complementing a basic information from global solution with the parameters necessary for full business. At the exit TURBO contains a full-fledged card with parameters ― a brand, the plant, the country of origin, the status of model, a sales channel, different types of the prices, spare parts, information on dimensions and packaging and also ciphers of partners for loading of partner sales statements (sell-out).
The detailed information on goods, the statuses and sales channels is used not only for work with the Russian wholesalers and network retailers, but also for the internal analysis. Planning of revenue, a deviation from the plan, marginality, the preorder on weeks, receivables, deviations on materials and component parts, planning of a free remaining balance of the production schedule ― these and even more than 50 other reports are regularly used by the staff of the company.
A system provides monitoring of sale on all sales channels, including the Internet, wholesalers and retailers, analyzes operating plans and sales of partners, builds reports in different cuts. For the purpose of stimulation of sales channels (repaid agreement) in TRUBO collecting and data processing for charge of bonuses to partners and approvals with them of discounts and special conditions on results of sales is implemented.
Earlier, that ten units of defective goods were considered in global solution, the staff of Gorenje had to accept, produce them the act of defects, sign at the head of the warehouse, approve with office in Moscow, the office in Moscow had to attach signed documents and send them to the plant for consideration, the plant considers four weeks and requests the additional information. In TURBO, on the basis of requests of sales department, logisticians see a current demand in specific goods, production schedules, stock remainders create loading of the machine ― also here plan runs taking into account filling of the truck and the indication of the place of unloading. Arrival on customs is registered by the logistician, arrival on a warehouse ― the employee of a warehouse. On each machine its number, transport company, the driver, the broker for a customs clearance, an order number and an invoice is fixed.
Each manager who placed the order in TURBO knows in what machine and when there arrives its order whether it can in general this order to the client confirm, and the logistician on the basis of total requirement creates runs and optimum distributes goods on machines taking into account weight and dimensional characteristics. The information system TURBO in Gorenje works not only on computers, but also through mobile access ― employees of a warehouse conduct goods acceptance on the tablet, managers, the most part of time spending abroad, will approve documents and receive reports on the smartphone, all six foreign plants Gorenje accept information on claims via the web portal integrated with TURBO.
The TURBO web portal supports process of claims activities in the company. So, at the moment when the storekeeper when unloading the machine fixes any defects on the tablet, a system automatically creates the notification for the staff of the plant from where the machine came. On the basis of this claim in TURBO in language of the country of location of the plant the document with indication of the amount of damage is created. On the basis of this document there is a payment of compensations.
In a project deliverable in Russian Gorenje on the TURBO platform implements expanded cards of goods, the logistics chain, the system of the financial and management reporting, planning process of sales and orders for production is built and automated, the monitoring system and notifications, a management system for document flow and approvals of agreements is created, the central file store is implemented.

The transparent logistics chain built on TURBO in Gorenje includes all process from creation of the operating plan by sales managers and orders for production before passing of goods through customs and its unloading in warehouses. For process optimization of goods acceptance mobile application for employees of a warehouse ― is created processing of the entering steams of cars and formation of acts of disagreements in case of identification of transport fight is automated.
Machines go from abroad, and practically in each truck defects meet. At us, generally the technology large, and is a big problem. On processing before each such delivery not less than 1.5 hours ― the storekeeper left had to photograph defect, describe, draw up statements, transfer them to operators on document flow who will prepare claims for sending to the plant. The TURBO, set on the tablet, itself prompts all steps which need to be made at goods acceptance. In case of defects identification the tablet works as the scanner, determining by a barcode model and serial number of goods ― to the storekeeper it is necessary to select only the nature of damage, and a system itself substitutes cost from an invoice, considers the size of a markdown and after that automatically creates the claim act.
Earlier at acceptance of the truck it was necessary to rewrite to each of hundred rejected microwaves manually serial number and each of them to photograph on the camera, and then the document flow specialist needed to spread out these photos according to folders. As a result on acceptance of the machine it left an hour and a half ― after implementation takes several minutes. All five gates of the distribution center are occupied optimum and any machine does not stand idle waiting for unloading.
The TURBO works as a monitoring system in the mode of the operational analysis of the occurring situation on a number of the developed scenarios. As soon as there is an aberration, a system automatically sends the notification with the necessary data and the attached documents to the responsible person. All documents of the company are stored in the uniform centralized archive, and notifications extend to all directions of business and accompany employees all working day.
In a project deliverable the quality and speed of report generation considerably grew. Heads of divisions independently configure to themselves reports in the necessary cuts ― sales, budgets, dynamicizing of plans, planning of revenue, planning of orders for production, a remaining balance. If on report generation earlier about accomplishment of the sales plan for relevant date several hours left, then now this process happens in a minute.

In Russian Gorenje there was a management tool which allowed to increase planning accuracy, correctness of order placement on production and also in tens of times to reduce labor input at goods acceptance.
