2022: Agreement on Digital Transformation of the Region

The government of the Saratov region and Rusatom Infrastructure Solutions JSC (RIR, part of Rosatom State Corporation) signed a cooperation agreement on December 14 in Moscow. The document enshrines the intentions of the parties to carry out comprehensive interaction in the production, scientific and technical, innovation spheres for the implementation of projects for the digital transformation of the urban environment and regional management, the implementation of Smart City projects, the development of transport infrastructure and housing and communal services using digital technologies.

The document was signed by Deputy Prime Minister of the Saratov Region - Minister of Industry and power of the Saratov Region Mikhail Torgashin and Alexey Golubev, General Director of Digital Platforms and Smart City Solutions JSC (part of the RIR).

The key task for us is to create favorable, safe and comfortable conditions for the life of citizens. Digitalization and advanced technological solutions can significantly improve everyday life. This agreement will allow today to attract to the region the best practices of digital transformation to increase the competitiveness Saratov of the region, the formation of an effective state management system, - said Mikhail Torgashin.

In particular, it provides for the possibility of introducing Smart City digital solutions based on the LEAN SMART CITY approach. The parties plan to implement joint projects within the framework of the Strategy in the field of digital transformation, industries economies social sphere and public administration of the Saratov region.

The agreement also states the possibility of using digital technologies to solve the problems of ensuring comprehensive environmental and public safety, guaranteed warning systems, population including the introduction of urban systems, video surveillances intelligent fire safety systems, and an integrated ecological monitoring system.

RuSat Infrastructure Solutions "has long been operating in many cities, ensuring their livelihoods, and has competencies in the field of digitalization of the urban environment, increasing the efficiency of municipal and regional management, introducing technologies into the work of the housing and communal complex. We will be glad to use our developments and technologies in the Saratov region. We expect that our joint work with the Government of the region will create an additional basis for improving the quality of life of the population and further development of the region, "said Alexey Golubev.

The agreement has entered into force since its signing and is valid for five years with the possibility of extension.
