On January 15, 2018 the Head of the republic Karelia Artur Parfenchikov signed in To Moscow the agreement with the CEO of the German company B. Braun Avitum Russland Tyag to Sudkhansh.
According to conditions of the reached agreement, in the region will construct the advanced hemodialysis center within implementation of the investment project. The expected term of construction — 6-10 months. The planned investment volume — about 150 million rubles.
Tyag to Sudkhansh assured the head of the region that it is ready to get to work quickly.

It is expected that the hemodialysis center will allow to increase quality and availability of medical aid by the patient which have a renal failure and need regular performing special replacement kidney therapy. It will work in the compulsory health insurance system on the same rates, as budget medical institutions of the region. For patients of the procedure of a hemodialysis will be free.
In general the center will add the existing network of hemodialysis departments and the centers of the republic (work in Petrozavodsk, Medvezhyegorsk and Sortavala).[2]

Hemodialysis — a procedure for artificial purification of blood of the person which is carried out out of his organism. For this purpose physicians use the device "artificial kidney" using which excesses of liquid and toxins are displaid. So far all this still the only way to prolong life to people who suffer from diseases of kidneys.
As noted, opening of many dialysis centers became possible after adoption of law on bases of the public-private partnership signed by the president Vladimir Putin in 2015.
As of January, 2018 company B. Braun opened in Russia already 52 dialysis centers where about 6 thousand patients are treated, reported in the Government of Karelia.[4]
