Initially, WMS Logistics Vision Suite was introduced in the warehouse of finished products produced at the plant in Naberezhnye Chelny. The second stage of this project was the introduction of Logistics Vision Suite in the warehouse for the production of TVs, where materials and components are stored, finished products are delivered for further transfer to the warehouse of finished products.

During the implementation of the project, processes were set up and automated: acceptance of components, acceptance of finished products from production, placement of goods, replenishment for orders, selection by production orders and write-off of components for production, selection by orders of finished products, shipment, accounting for batches, serial numbers and invoices, blocking and unlocking after receiving batch approval from production, transfer, inventory. Addressable storage of goods has been introduced.

During the implementation of the project, it was noted that WMS Logistics Vision Suite has wide functionality and flexibility, this allows you to customize the system in accordance with the tasks solved during the project, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. WMS provides a complete control loop for the movement of material, taking into account different types of receipt of materials and components from different sources, internal movements and other movements of materials and goods, tracking the movement of products by serial numbers. The system sets up 10 receipt and consumption options, implements different types of acceptance and selection methods, enters the quality of the goods, uses serial numbers of different formats, etc.

The project team developed and set up a seamless automatic transfer of finished products from the plant to the finished product storage warehouse. The technology works according to the scheme: finished products from the final production line are placed in the cells of the shuttle rack production system, which is then automatically transferred to the finished product warehouse without attracting human resources. At this time, information is exchanged between the WMS databases of the material warehouse and the finished goods warehouse in on-line mode. The process is started by the user in WMS in the production warehouse to transfer the goods to the finished goods warehouse system, where receipt documents are automatically generated.

When the process is complete, SAP ERP receives confirmation that the goods have been shipped from the production warehouse and put into the finished goods warehouse. SAP integration with WMS warehouse systems is configured via web services using the JSON data transfer protocol. Shipment of finished products with "one click" makes it possible to optimize the time of delivery of goods from production to the finished product warehouse, as well as the accuracy of the process, which optimizes the rate of return on investment of the System user.
