2019: Testing of the autonomous database in a cloud of Oracle
On March 27, 2019 the FORS Group (FORS Group) company, the platinum partner of Oracle corporation with the status Oracle Cloud MSP, announced accomplishment for "Technology company "Centre" (Stoloto brand) testing of the autonomous database in a cloud of Oracle. Two services were for this purpose involved: Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse Cloud (ADW) and Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP), significantly increasing efficiency of data warehouses.
The hundred-lotto uses the Oracle Universal Credits model which provides access to all services Oracle PaaS and IaaS. For working off of methods of work with cloud DBMS the company stopped the choice on the cloud autonomous storage data.
For creation of analytical data marts for machining (scoring) and other tasks of Data Science the company uses Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse Cloud. Determination of performance of the autonomous cloud storage of data for ensuring work of analytical CRM of the customer was the key purpose of testing. For this purpose processing of a large number of the data covering results of calculation of analytical units and derivatives, preparation of show-windows, request processing of the ad-hoc format on any kinds of data and also segmentation of the customer base is required. Using individual certificates and encryption keys, the FORS helped to transfer data from normal base to autonomous cloud. At the same time work with autonomous cloud base happened by means of the standard client of Oracle that provided the invariance of architecture of existing application.
the Value of the project is that we could fully estimate possibilities of the cloud autonomous data warehouse — the product of special category created by Oracle. Due to balancing of the used capacities it is possible to manage flexibly loading, to select necessary resources, and the first in performances, and it occurs imperceptibly for us. The testing held by us showed that the cloud autonomous data warehouse of Oracle surely provides processing of large volume of analytical data of the customer at very moderate use of cloud resources. So, the processing speed of separate SQL queries increased up to 20 times, thus that their optimization specially was not performed. Use of autonomous service considerably facilitates labor-intensive processes of creation, protection, monitoring and setup of storage, allowing to perform quickly and flexibly scaling of computing resources, disconnecting those from them which are not necessary at present — Dmitry Bibichev, the director of the department of system integration of FORS group company summarizes. |

On December 20, 2018 the company Oracle CIS reported that JSC Technology Company Centre (Stoloto brand) it tested possibilities of autonomous data warehouses Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse Cloud and shared results of use cloud of service among which there is performance improvement, cost reduction and improved security data and systems.
According to the company, a priority of Stoloto is active use and implementation of cloud computing which are among most the innovation, allow to reduce costs, to improve their predictability and quicker to start the next products and services.
