AXELOT and IRWIN 2 completed the project to replace the overseas warehouse management system with AXELOT WMS. This was announced on August 13, 2025 by AXELOT.

According to the company, earlier the IRVIN 2 warehouse, located in  Podolsk, worked at a foreign WMS, but the vendor stopped supporting it for Russian users. The license for the solution has already expired, it was not possible to renew it, so the management of IRVIN 2 faced a critical task - to replace WMS with a modern domestic solution that will ensure uninterrupted operation of the warehouse while maintaining all existing business processes.

When we faced the task of urgently replacing the foreign WMS, we were aware of all the risks: any mistake in the transition could lead to shipping failures, which is unacceptable in pharmaceuticals. The management of "IRVIN 2" turned to AXELOT. AXELOT specialists were able to ensure the smooth transition of all IRVIN 2 logistics under the control of AXELOT WMS, which completely covered the functionality of the previous system, and also helped to optimize some of the business processes and successfully integrated with the pipeline.

An important task for the project team was to load more than 10 million serial numbers into the WMS before starting the warehouse. To do this, a special toolkit was developed for automated data transfer, which not only optimized the implementation process, but also ensured the correct accounting of goods from the first day of operation of the warehouse.

Despite the complexity of the transition from the old WMS to the updated WMS, IRVIN 2 managed to keep the key parameters of the warehouse at the same level due to the conscious assessment of all potential risks and the coordinated actions of the IRVIN2 and AXELOT project teams.
