2021: Conduct of refresher courses
The Lanit Network Academy training center (part of the LANIT group of companies) conducted advanced training courses for 400 IT specialists of the Unified Energy System System Operator. This was announced by LANIT on January 10, 2021.
Further training in additional vocational education programs was completed by 53 groups.
The training was conducted by certified instructors in 24 training programs with a total duration of more than 800 hours in the areas of Linux, Kaspersky Lab, PostgreSQL, Natex and others.
All courses were held in the format of "live" webinars - students not only attended lectures and performed practical tasks, but could ask questions and receive feedback from teachers. Also, instructors could remotely connect to the user desktop for operational support and assistance to listeners.
One of the key features of the project is the flexible management of the educational process. The experts of LANIT Network Academy and JI UES analyzed the training results of each group and adjusted the educational strategy and trajectory for the following groups, if necessary. For the entire training period, several information and technical support channels were organized for students through a webroom chat, telephone and e-mail. At the end of the training, students received certificates of advanced training.
Students appreciated both the level of organization of the educational process, as well as the quality of training and the skill of teachers.
The renovation of equipment and software, the introduction of new complexes and communication systems, annually increases the requirements for the level of qualification of personnel of the information technology unit. Keeping employees qualified at the required level is a critical task for us, said Tatyana Kolkunova, Deputy Director for Information Technologies of SB UES JSC.
