Kcell started upgrade of a system of billing

On May 6, 2015 it became known of agreement signature on development, implementation and maintenance of a system of convergent billing between Amdocs Software Solutions LLC company and mobile operator Kcell Amdocs^[1].

Project Tasks

The agreement is expected five years and provides software implementation, data migration, testing and support. Amdocs should make replacement of support systems of business of Kcell, having provided to the operator completely convergent BSS solution. The cost of the transaction is stated to $44 million that makes 5% of the total cost of assets Kcell. Other details of the transaction are not disclosed.

Software implementation of Amdocs is focused on decrease in operating expenses of the operator, acceleration of an output to the market of the innovation products and service packages for users.

"New market realities oblige service providers to simplify a difficult business environment for a fast output to the market of new services and also to optimize expenses. The project of transformation of business will allow Kcell to increase rates of achievement of business challenges and to take the leading positions in the telecommunication market", - Oleg Volpin, the regional vice president of Amdocs EMEA noted.
