Komatsu TopLog WMS

Specialists TopLog successfully completed one of the most difficult projects – automation of a warehouse by production of Komatsu Menufekchuring Rus company in the item. Nagorny of the Yaroslavl region.

This warehouse object occupies 72,000 sq.m on which takes place on storage of 60,000 active product names, since fine details and finishing with cabins for excavators and dump trucks.

For TopLog WMS system implementation in the warehouse "Komatsu Menufekchuring Rus" huge work on adaptation of the WMS solution under warehouse business processes of the customer as all of them differ from standard was carried out.

The main complexity of the project consisted in integration of TopLog WMS with the specific corporate system used by the customer on resource management.

After laborious study of process of data exchange between CIS and TopLog WMS all huge number of information is processed in the most foreground mode and comes to the implemented warehouse management system.

As a result of implementation of TopLog WMS in the production warehouse "Komatsu Menufekchuring Rus" all warehouse processes were automated:

• in the course of acceptance all distinctions of products from suppliers from the different countries are considered;
• loading of production orders from CIS is optimized;
• write-off of component parts from production sites in TopLog WMS when closing production orders in CIS is automated;
• accounting of serial numbers (on issue-numbers) for CIS is entered;
• all necessary printed forms for selection of products corresponding to process charts for production are implemented;
• run of the warehouse equipment and personnel are reduced.

Systems capabilities of TopLog WMS allowed to make work of the warehouse "Komatsu Menufekchuring Rus" absolutely transparent for the management, to simplify and increase the accuracy and speed of accomplishment of all warehouse transactions.
