2024: Completion of the first stage of the program of large-scale digitalization of heat supply systems

JSC, Rosatom Infrastructure Solutions (RIR) part of the State Corporation Rosatom"") and "Krasnodarteploenergo" (LLC "KTE") have completed the first stage of the program of large-scale digitalization of heat supply systems in the capital of Kuban using the platform Digital Resource Supply"." RIR announced this on May 27, 2024. The program is developed and implemented in accordance with the methodological recommendations " Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation Standard of digital maturity of RSO." It unites around the Rosatom platform a number of domestic hardware and software systems used in each RSO. Digitalization will allow by 2026 to create automated workplaces and mobile places for at least two thousand employees of the industry and. HOUSING AND PUBLIC UTILITIES Krasnodar Krasnodar Territory

Krasnodarteploenergo ― this is almost 600 km of heating networks in two-pipe terms, about 1000 employees and more than 200 technological facilities in operation. Over the past two years, work has been actively underway to improve efficiency, new automated equipment and metering devices have been installed. In 2023, a roadmap for digital transformation was developed and the first stage of its implementation began.

Any digital transformation project is quite complex and long in time. But we are inspired by the first results - we managed to improve the quality and reliability so that the heating season is over without serious accidents. A problem, a leak, a deviation in work - everything is immediately reflected on the screen, and we quickly take action. The introduction of digital solutions of Rosatom will allow monitoring, including control over all technological processes, carrying out effective planning of repair work, and expensive measures - for example, replacing networks - to be carried out only where it is really necessary. All this makes it possible to look with optimism at the possibility of raising funds in the modernization of housing and communal services in the city of Krasnodar, as well as to consider other mechanisms of long-term planning and investments, such as an "alternative boiler house," taking into account the protection primarily of the interests of consumers - residents of the city and the region, - said Khayrov Ruslan, General Director of Krasnodarteploenergo.

One of the goals of the project is to improve the quality and living conditions of people due to the reliable operation of the infrastructure, timely response to possible incidents. As of May 2024, more than 400 employees of the enterprise are already working in the digital system. Now the personnel (from dispatcher to director) can monitor the operation of equipment and network complex, repair teams in real time and, depending on the authority, take prompt measures in case of deviations from regulatory indicators. The fulfillment of consumer applications is put under special control - the setting of tasks is carried out in electronic form without the need to call a specialist to the central office.

The Digital Resource Supply platform was created specifically for utilities and tested at real facilities. A joint team of experts from RIR and Krasnodarteploenergo deployed the software modules "Central Panel," "Applications," "Bypass Controller" to build a digital twin of the most important business processes of the enterprise. In May 2024, the first results were obtained: labor productivity increased by 40%, the time for detecting and eliminating accidents was reduced by 30%, the energy efficiency of the facilities increased by 10%.

As a result of the introduction of the Application software module, the work of emergency and repair departments was optimized due to the prompt response to applications, reduced downtime of equipment, analysis and processing of information by generating reporting in an automated system. Due to the prompt entry of information and optimization of screen forms, the time for creating an application was reduced by 2 times. Due to tracking the performance of work and better repairs, the number of incidents decreased. The average time to eliminate an accident on networks has decreased by more than 20%.

The software module "Bypass Controller" allowed to increase the number of requests executed by one employee, increased transparency of the process of work of traveling employees and received positive feedback from subscribers in terms of reducing the time of presence of employees of our organization at the place of work.

The solutions that have been worked out in nuclear cities, including at our enterprises, are today replicated by such large companies as Krasnodarteploenergo. These are useful tools for resource-supplying organizations - they provide transparency and save resources. Thanks to digitalization, the reliability, efficiency of heat supply increases, the number of accidents decreases, the time for their elimination is reduced, - comments Ksenia Sukhotina, General Director of RIR.

2023: The beginning of digitalization of heat supply systems

RuSat Infrastructure Solutions JSC (RIR, part of Rosatom State Corporation) and Krasnodarteploenergo (KTE LLC) have begun large-scale digitalization of heat supply systems in the capital of Kuban using the Digital Resource Supply platform. RIR announced this on November 23, 2023.

The result of digital transformation will be an increase in the transparency of services, the efficiency of the heating system, and a reduction in the response time to emergency situations. A joint team of experts from RIR and Krasnodarteploenergo is deploying software modules "Central Panel," "Applications," "Crawler-Controller" to build a digital twin of the most important business processes of the enterprise.

The Digital Resource Supply platform was created specifically for utilities and tested in terms of its effectiveness at real facilities. Already in November 2023, introducing this platform in a trial mode, Krasnodarteploenergo sees how efficiently the repair and maintenance personnel are loaded. Setting tasks is carried out without the need to call a specialist to the office, tasks are set in electronic form, which saves up to 10% of working time. In the future, the modules will increase labor productivity by at least 40%, reduce the time for detecting and eliminating accidents by 30%, and increase the energy efficiency of facilities by up to 10%. The work will be completed by the end of 2024.

The introduction of the Digital Heat Supply system is part of a large set of works on the digitalization of urban economy. "Krasnodarteploenergo" is more than 573 km of heating networks in two-pipe terms, about 1000 employees and more than 200 technological facilities in operation. To maintain a high quality of service and optimize management, modern digital tools and a single information space are needed.

Over the past two years, the company has been actively working to improve efficiency, modernizing assets, installing new automated equipment on heat sources, central heat points. Also, great attention is paid to the installation of metering devices both at technological facilities and among heat consumers. These projects as early as November 2023 are beneficial in the form of savings in fuel and energy resources, but there is still potential for additional effects. Therefore, in 2023, a roadmap for digital transformation was developed, which will increase the efficiency of all the main business processes of the enterprise through the use of digital technologies.

The project is being implemented within the framework of the concluded license agreement between KTE LLC and Digital Platforms and Smart City Solutions JSC, which is part of the RIR control loop.
