2019: Results of development of ISU by a MRO and warehouse
On July 17, 2019 it became known that Item LLC and JSC L'Oreal summed up the results of two years of development of the information management system by maintenance, repairs of the equipment (MRO ISU) and a warehouse.
The third stage of development began in May, 2019 and for July, 2019 is in a completion stage. Automatic service of data exchange between Nipper AGV robots loaders and a management system for a production warehouse is implemented: the robot receives a task for transportation of raw materials or component parts from a warehouse on production, executes it according to the route chart, transfers back the report on accomplishment. The operator can control task performance, manually cancel or add them via the user interface.
In process of functional development also the MRO ISU database was filled. For July, 2019 it contains about 1000 items of equipment - it is 13 packing lines and the equipment of workshop of cooking. Entering into the system of the equipment of the chief power engineer, with the subsequent support of processes of his service and repair is planned.
In the next plans also implementation in ISU of a MRO of a role of the inspector which checks and confirms execution of works. The inspector should have an opportunity to perform the function from the mobile device, being on site works. told Roman Iorsh, the project manager from Item company |
2018: The second stage of development of a system
In October, 2018 the L'Oreal company reported that from June to October, 2018 the second stage of development of a system took place. Automation of transactions in a warehouse and in a production zone became its maintenance. Based on the module "TRIM Warehouse" the warehouse terminal integrated with scanners of barcodes is implemented. It allowed to automate creation of goods issue slips from a warehouse of technical service. Such approach completely excluded situations at which the expense of spare parts and materials has no connection with an event on repair or belonging to the specific equipment.
According to the company, the MRO ISU configuration is complemented with mobile devices with the module "TRIM Mobile client" which began to be used actively directly in workshops. On the mobile device of the contractor the route of a bypass or the order is loaded, with its help the contractor scans a barcode or the QR equipment code and by the code automatically finds it in a system, ties to it the measured parameter values, descriptions and photos of the found defects. If the spare part is used, its barcode or the QR code is also scanned, it it is identified in the database and then easily becomes attached to the report on the performed work. Input of reports in a system is also made from mobile devices directly in workshop, without intermediate paper carriers.
2017: System implementation of a maintenance and repair
On February 16, 2017 the Item company announced carrying out a complex of works on implementation of an information system of a maintenance and repair at the Russian enterprise L'Oreal. Works are performed on an express implementation technique on a software platform of TRIM-PMS.
Project Objectives
The technique of express implementation was used with the purpose to give fast start to work of users in an information system of maintenance and repair (MRO IC). With the same purpose in quality of a software platform of the IC of a MRO the software package TRIM-PMS was accepted.
Project Progress
The license to use TRIM-PMS was provided to L'Oreal Ltd company on five users among whom heads and employees of technical service of the enterprise and also the warehouse worker. Express implementation of the IC of a MRO at the Russian factory L'Oreal was executed by specialists Item in 4 working days. During this time for technical service of the customer the seminar on the system of precautionary service implemented in TRIM-PMS was held. The software of TRIM-PMS is unrolled in workplaces of users, balancing and commissioning is performed.
Input user training to the main transactions in a system – creation of the database on the equipment, filling of reference books and directories of spare parts, work planning on a MRO, formation of documents, input of reports on works, etc. is provided. Users brought in a system a test data set on the equipment, and on this example passed on a chain of business processes of standard regulations of the IC of a MRO. Afterwards specialists Item performed extra works on expansion of the MRO IC functions out of limits of the standard solution TRIM-PMS. In particular, to users functions of inventory of a warehouse, an additional order became available to a minimum, a maximum, an optimum, settings of the interface to a user group. The data on the nomenclature and a remaining balance of a warehouse of spare parts provided by the customer in an electronic format were converted into the MRO IC database.
"In addition to the converter, together with the customer we consider prospect of migration of the IC of a MRO on the version of TRIM 3.9.3 and also implementation of additional input function of the barcodes given in the MRO IC from the scanner. It will allow to increase automation of transactions of report generation about use of spare parts, warehouse documents and purchasing requests". Andrey Yelizarov, CEO of Item LLC |
2016: Commissioning
In October, 2016 the L'Oreal company reported that the information management system is put by maintenance and repairs (MRO ISU) of the L'Oreal plant equipment into operation. For its creation the "boxed" solution TRIM-PMS with expansion of functions out of limits of a standard system was used. In particular, users got access to additional functions of an additional order of spare parts on a minimum/maximum/optimum, inventories of a warehouse, setup of the interface for a user group. Users began system learning with formation of the database on the equipment.
