2019: Automation of a warehouse

In February, 2020 Axelot reported that by forces of the project team consisting of specialists of customer company Laconia , AXELOT and DATAREON, the warehouse of class "A" is completely prepared for start. In addition to accomplishment of standard tasks, WMS from AXELOT manages operation of narrow-passage pilers.

The Laconia group is among players of the market of food, more than 20 years delivering foreign and high-quality domestic production to all regions of Russia and abroad. Since 2006 at one of canneries of the South of the country Laconia produces tinned vegetables and fruit under the EKO and Solvita own brands and also under trademarks of large networks: "Magnet", Pyaterochka, Intersection, Dixy, Metro and others.

In 2018 Laconia constructed for itself a warehouse – warehouse spaces of class "A" are located in the city of Domodedovo of the Moscow region. 13000 square meters are intended for storage about 5000 active names of tinned products. Narrow-passage pilers together with the automated control system for a warehouse (WMS) were designed to ensure effective functioning of a warehouse, among other things.

On sets of the factors including including wide functionality, rather low cost and positive reviews of users, from submitted the guide of group on the Russian roar of WMS selected the solution developed by AXELOT. Specialists of AXELOT were invited also for implementation of the software product of own development in the warehouse preparing for opening.

Part in the project of automation was also taken by specialists of DATAREON company who together with the AXELOT command thought over logic of integration of WMS and narrow-passage pilers and developed the integration connector. Setup of data exchange between the equipment, WMS and CIS based on "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management" was performed by means of the service bus DATAREON ESB.

In an automation project deliverable the warehouse was completely prepared for acceptance and processing of goods. WMS performs online control over accomplishment of all warehouse transactions, including transit movements, movements of separate goods and the whole containers, conducting lot-based accounting. Transactions with products are executed including using narrow-passage pilers: thanks to integration, the tasks received by the employee of a warehouse go to the piler where the target cell is fixed, and clicking of one button the piler moves to this cell.
