2020: Automation of a warehouse

On February 10, 2020 the TopLog company announced automation of a warehouse of the Leader company specializing in sale of supplies for the food industry and places of public catering.

Under management of the TopLog WMS system the warehouse of the customer of 2,200 sq.m located in Moscow was translated. In a warehouse it is placed on storage of 3,000 active names of the nomenclature among which – household and professional chemicals, containers and packing materials, disposable tableware, overalls, means of hygiene, goods for kitchen and office and other products. Daily from a warehouse from 80 to 150 orders are shipped.

From the specialized equipment in a warehouse of Leader LLC manual hydraulic carts, the richtraki and loaders are used. All goods are stored on frontal pallet racks. The two-level mezzanine is applied to piece selection.

Until integration of a system TopLog WMS in a warehouse of the customer there was no marking of storage locations of goods, accurate accounting of products was not kept, the personnel used paper carriers at selection, owing to a human factor mistakes in the course of shipment of orders were made. Because of inexact work there were discrepancies between information in CIS 1C: Trade Management and actual data on stock remainders.

The WMS system selected by company management Leader allowed to increase the speed of accomplishment of warehouse transactions, to minimize influence of a human factor, to exclude inaccuracies in shipments and to keep correct account of goods.

In the project progress on deployment of TopLog WMS in a warehouse of Leader LLC address accounting of storage of goods was implemented. Tasks for selection are issued in the WMS system in the automatic mode that allows to optimize work of employees of a warehouse.

Thanks to opportunities of the WMS solution the speed of selection increased and excess run of typesetters who should not look for the ordered goods on all warehouse more were reduced – in TopLog WMS the address of each nomenclature position is precisely specified.

Due to application of a control system of the shipped goods problems with excesses and shortages are liquidated. Process of carrying out inventory became simpler.

Within the executed project specialists picked up TopLog and supplied the equipment for automatic identification, conducted radio examination and mounted network on a warehouse object of Wi-fi.

The TopLog WMS system allowed to transfer work of a warehouse of Leader company to other qualitative level.
