Lenta on May 5, 2023 announced the introduction in stores of a method of payment for goods using a QR code through the Fast Payment System (FPS).

The company has launched several ways to pay for goods through the Fast Payment System. In the Volga region stores at the box office will be placed special stickers with a built-in NFC-chip. The customer will be able to pay for the goods in two ways: scan the code or attach. In smartphone other regions, customers will be able to scan the QR code from an additional check and pay for the purchase in by mobile application bank confirming the payment. At self-service checkouts, the QR code will be displayed on the screen.

Thanks to the introduction of the technology, buyers will be able to use the cashless payment method convenient for them. Tape tests two solutions to analyze which one is most convenient for the customer.
