MUEC transformed management of operating activities with the ABBYY FlexiCapture platform

On January 25, 2018 the ABBYY company announced transformation of processing of primary documentation in PJSC MOEK.

PJSC MOEK integrated processes of accounting and financial control on the intellectual ABBYY FlexiCapture platform thanks to what accountants of PJSC MOEK carry out transactions with suppliers and partners, without waiting for originals of documents: processing and data validation take only several minutes. Information, necessary for work, is loaded in the accounting system automatically from the scanned invoices, TORG-12, acts of KS-2 and references of KS-3. In a year the solution processes more than 2.6 million pages of documents from all 13 branches.

Specialists of ABBYY implemented in PJSC MOEK the universal solution for intellectual information processing ABBYY FlexiCapture and electronic archive SAP Extended ECM by Open Text and also carried out necessary additional tuning of system modules of SAP ERP. More than 2000 employees from all divisions of the company use the solution.

To send data for accounting in accounting, it is enough to curator of the agreement to scan the signed set of documents and to upload it on the ABBYY platform. Recognition and the majority of data validations are automatic: the employee needs to enter only the order number specified in SAP. After that the platform itself finds and compares the recognized data with information in the accounting system: TIN and check point of the partner, number and amount of the agreement, VAT, range of goods or service. If all checks are successfully undergone, then the scan copy of the document goes to electronic archive SAP Extended ECM by OpenText, and in the accounting system of SAP the link and a card with its metadata appear.

Besides, on the IT platform of PJSC MOEK the functionality which allows employees to carry out transaction is implemented and to consider economic operation with the scan of the document, still before the original came to accounting. After processing of the document using ABBYY FlexiCapture, in SAP the draft copy of wiring with previously completed data is created. The accountant needs to check correctness of information and to confirm transaction. Thus, PJSC MOEK can carry out transactions, without waiting until papers are delivered from one office in another. Thanks to such system, PJSC MOEK closes reporting period 10 days faster.
