The introduction of an electronic queue management system in health facilities optimizes visitor service, builds a sequence of people in line and reduces the burden on staff. 2021: Implementation of the NeuroniQ system in the fifth branch

On September 14, 2021, Technologies of the Future announced the introduction of Neuroniq Queue in the fifth branch of the MacroClinic medical clinic.

The revision of the functionality was initiated in connection with the entry of the Order of the Ministry of Health No. 731n, which made changes to the rules of the driver's medical examination (more precisely, to order No. 344n, which regulates it), making two additional tests mandatory. The first checks the driver for drug use, the second - for alcoholism.

This affected the routing of visitors and the order of distribution associated with the specifics of issuing certain types of medical certificates, for which the passage of specialists outside the medical institution is required.

One of the problems: the ban on conducting such tests for certificates to private clinics. It is necessary to send citizens to the mandatory examination of a psychiatrist and psychiatrist-narcologist only in state or municipal institutions.

At the same time, there was an inconvenience for both visitors and doctors. In addition, an ineffective distribution of time and queues among specialists has formed.

As part of solving this problem, goals were set for the implementation of additional functionality in the Neuroniq Electronic Queue System:

  • The ability to register a patient with one coupon for several services (doctors);
  • Possibility of setting service/specialist/AWS priorities;
  • The ability to configure recording routes to specialists;
  • The ability to set priority and lock on a service group.

Also, a check was implemented in the system on the patient ID of those specialists whom he had not yet visited. This makes it possible to interrupt the passage of a medical examination and complete it on another day. At the same time, the registrars will not have to look at which specialists the patient has already been to the appointment, because the system will do it for him and offer to continue the assigned route of the medical examination.

Also, the electronic queue system is integrated with third-party systems (MIS, MCDS, video surveillance, etc.)

NEURONIQ helps to create comfortable conditions for visitors waiting for a service call. Instead of standing idle in the queue, the organization's customers are free to manage their time. In addition, the moral and psychological climate in the waiting area is improving.

For convenience, both patients and clinic staff, the functionality of the system has been expanded. In the event of a medical examination within a few days, the patient does not need to contact the registry again every day and additionally stand in line. The NEURONIQ system automatically generates a list of specialists who failed on previous days and registers the visitor in the queue. To do this, enter the previously received activation code on the touch terminal.

The electronic queue allows not only to streamline the flow of customers and create a customer-oriented service, but also to improve the working conditions of personnel and increase the throughput of the organization.

In addition, the NEURONIQ system provides the ability to monitor the process of receiving visitors, monitor the dynamics of queue movement to all specialists, and also collects statistical data on various service parameters.
